A drop of blood is examined under a microscope and viewed on a television screen so the practitioner can explain to the patient exactly what is seen. \u00a0<\/p>

We use high dose vitamin C to support the immune system in conditions like infections or cancer.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 With intravenous vitamin C we can bypass the digestive system and get the concentration of vitamin C in the blood much higher.\u00a0 This pushes more vitamin C into the cells.\u00a0 High levels of vitamin C produces hydrogen peroxide that is toxic to cancer cells and microbes.\u00a0 A healthy cell is unaffected because it rapidly reduces the hydrogen peroxide and can in fact use it for a number of beneficial effects.<\/p>

We can\u2019t produce vitamin C in our body \u2013 unlike most other animals.\u00a0 Due to dietary choices, we are often lower in vitamin C than we should be.\u00a0 Intravenous vitamin C helps to bring us to a more functional level in certain disease conditions.<\/p>

Artesunate<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Artesunate is an extract from the wormwood plant.\u00a0 It has widely been used as an antiparasitic drug especially against malaria.\u00a0 More recently it has been used in treating cancer and infections.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Parasites, virus, bacteria and cancer use iron as a growth factor.\u00a0 Artemisinin targets those high levels of iron that exist in diseased cells creating a potent concentration of free radicals that the cancer cells can not eliminate resulting in die off.\u00a0 Artesunate is frequently combined with vitamin c to enhance the effectiveness.\u00a0<\/p>

Glutathione<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Glutathione is the main detoxification pathway in the body and is associated with DNA synthesis and repair.\u00a0 Altered glutathione metabolism has been implicated in increased oxidative stress and chronic disease states.\u00a0 Glutathione is reduced by a number of medications and treatments.\u00a0 It does not absorb well when taken as a supplement so intravenous routes are preferred.\u00a0 It is helpful in most chronic disease states especially neurodegenerative conditions, cancer, liver disease, or immunosuppression.\u00a0 It is best done following an IV that includes other nutrients that make the glutathione more effective and long lasting.\u00a0<\/p>

PolyMVA acts as an antioxidant and a mitochondrial support.\u00a0 As an antioxidant it can reduce damage from chronic disease or even medical treatments like chemo and radiation. It helps restore aerobic metabolism – favored by healthy cells, and shuts down anaerobic glycolosis – favored by cancer and diseased cells.\u00a0 It reduces fatigue, helps heal mitochondria, supports the immune system, assists with liver detoxification, and promotes proper nerve function.\u00a0 It\u2019s a unique complex containing palladium bonded to alpha-lipoic acid, vitamins B1, B2, and B12, formyl-methionine, NAC and trace amounts of molybdenum, rhodium, and ruthenium.\u00a0 It is soluble in both water and fat and can pass the blood brain barrier which is difficult for most other supplements and medications.\u00a0 Higher concentrations can be obtained intravenously but it can be used orally for maintenance.<\/p>

Hydrogen peroxide reacts with catalase in the blood to produce water and oxygen.\u00a0 The high oxygen concentration is supportive of oxygen deprived conditions present in nearly all chronic disease states.\u00a0 Hydrogen peroxide stimulates white blood cells and the immune response.\u00a0 It is antimicrobial and helpful in most infections.\u00a0 It has been found to dissolve cholesterol and calcium deposits associated with atherosclerosis, poor circulation, heart disease, and stroke.\u00a0 It helps reduce mucus deposits in the lungs and has been employed by many practitioners in chronic lung conditions like COPD and asthma.<\/p>

Myers Cocktail<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

This is a combination of vitamins and minerals in an IV formula.\u00a0 Originally formulated by Dr. John Myers, MD, it has since been used and adjusted for many conditions.\u00a0 The nutrients included vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, and B vitamins, are often deficient in the general population or are used by the body at an increased rate under certain circumstances.\u00a0 Given intravenously you guarantee availability to the body compared to the unknown absorption through the intestine especially with compromised absorption.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Clinical results have been seen with migraines and headaches, asthma, allergies, fatigue, fibromyalgia, restlessness, depression, anxiety, infections and post-infection fatigue, cardiovascular conditions, and improving exercise recovery time, among others.\u00a0 Sometimes other ingredients may be added to the formula depending on the condition treated or the amount of nutrient needed.\u00a0<\/p>
